Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan --The Voice of Faith

Some people are trapped in history, but some are those where history is trapped in them. when we talk about music we can not forget this prestigious person Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. NFAK do some impossible things in Asian music so he is known as the reformer of music. A man of my generation always think when he listen music why people listen NFAK, why this man is still alive what he had done. all the answer of these questions are hidden behind his greatness. He gave greatest contribution ever in Asian music with almost 250+ albums.  Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan borned in a qawwali tradition family of Faisalabad. His family has a six hundred years of qawwali heritage. He had the capability of live performance of whole night due to his great vocal ability. Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan career goes at its peak when he made the album 'mast mast' in 90's. one interesting fact about Khan shb was that he make different experiment with classical music and western music. he tried to make a mixture of classic and western music with the support of PETER GABRIAL. and he was successful and  gave album by the name of ' Piya ghar Aya ' . that album was also super hit.
People saw that when he went to Europe to record albums and live concert. People said European people did not understand his language but when he performed people went on dance and hypnotized.

He introduced his qawwali music to the world. He was one of them who got respect internationally due to his talent. Most of his albums were consist of sufiana Kalam and according to most of his acquaintances he was quite person most of the time and always busy in practice of music. He equally contributed in the field of ghazals.  He was the only person who was invited to Bollywood for movie songs. 'Afreen Afreen'  was the album which was recorded in Bollywood. He changed the classical music of Qawwali into modern music Qawwali. Due to his struggle He got great influenced in music. Most of the Major singers of nowadays are influenced by him including Atif Aslam, Kalash Khair, QB, Ghulamn Ali and Hans Raj Hans etc. Nowadays people are getting fame by remaking his songs specially in Bollywood. His great gift to the humanity in the field of music is his Nephew, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. RFAK is also a music legend of this time. He expired at the age of 48 by putting silence on the faces of millions of his fans by sudden death. Most of the musicians gave tribute to him by remaking his masterpieces.  His death day is still known as the day when music died. he will always remembered by his contribution to the music...
